A comedian is an entertainer whose act is designed to make an audience laugh. Comedy is used to get a laugh out of people. It can help ease difficult situations and allows people to speak the truth without worrying about people getting offended. Comedy strives to entertain chiefly through criticism and ridicule of man's customs and institutions.Middle Age comedy was associated with vernacular language and a happy ending. Comedy started off as a play with a chorus and different individual characters. In addition to telling their own jokes, comedians may also write jokes or comedic scripts to be performed by others.
